    How reliable is a landrover?

I have the chance of buying a 92 landrover dicovery, its petrol and its not on gas, not to sure how many k's are on it as well. Some poeple say you never really get problems with them, then other people say there just a headache all the time. This one is stock as a rock and has never been off road at all.
Just wondering what you guys thought of them..

    What price?

Does it have a service history?
    Manual/Auto

Regular servicing is the key here!

If I was in your position I'd buy it for that price. If it starts to cause headaches and it turns out maintainance has been lacking, sell a few bits for parts and you've recouped the cost in no time whatsoever.

What would you want to use it for?

    Mate $500.00 A good battery cost $100 + what are you expecting for $ 500 ?

If it gives you a 10000 km problems free run you are on a winner
