    Pyrometer on 200tdi

    Hi all has anyone fitted a pyrometer to a 200tdi disco???

    If so has anyone got pics?

    I have seen them fitted to a defender but the setup is different on a disco.

    Hi, I'm in the process of fitting none at the moment, My 200 had exhaust. gas recirc fitted, so I pulled that off and fitted blank off the exh. manifold, EGT probe is in that, and the inlet manifold now has a nice place for a boost gauge fitting.
    I have used a egt sensor from Auberin instruments, (though Thermoman on here does a nice setup, I bought on price. I'm in NZ and the exchange swung it.) and I'm in the process of hooking it all up at the moment. When I figure out how to post photos, I will.
    Its all pretty easy, just common sense really.

    I fitted one to my 300 in my disco but I swear buy thermoguard its a brillant product for the right price. Installed myself comes with DIY instructions, took about 1hr max. www.thermoguard.com.au
