    Nice1guv,

Don't know whether you're stuck at 2 inch lift, but I have just recently swapped out my sagged OME 2" lift coils for some standard 80 series and 100 series LandBruiser front coils (Kings KTFS94C (80 series fronts) for the front and KTFS69C (100 series fronts) for the back to be exact).

That combined with my 2" extended Rancho shocks (which are on their way out ) have given the Disco a solid 3" lift. Very easy to do, just had to flip the bottom coil locator upside down and everything is good.

Though I'm yet to take it offroad (only did it last night). I did a LOT of research on it and ended up talking to a local Disco owner that had previously done the swap and had no issues whatsoever, both on and offroad. He had a similar load distribution to me so I was happy with his comments. My Disco is a 98 tdi auto with steel bullbar, XD9000 winch, permanent roller drawers in the back with approx. 50 - 100kgs always in there. Only difference was he had a second battery up front, which I will eventually have as well.

The only issue I've found is the steering is a little flighty, so I will be looking into getting the hubs slotted to regain my caster angle on the front wheels.

With the 2" extended shocks, you shouldn't need to worry about brake line overextension as the open length of the shock stops the wheel articulating too far before the standard front brake lines are compromised.

It's nice to get a little more air under the Disco though . It almost makes the 245/75R16's look a little small . Although going bigger than these looks like lots more $$ (flares, 4.11:1 cwp's, possibly upgrade axles, let alone the tyre cost).

    Have fun deciding.

    Cheers

I'm try to get the right ones so the Disco sits level, but there seems to be some confusion over which exact ones to get.

If you are using Dobinsons, could you let me know which ones you are using and if you have a bullbar, diesel, winch etc?
Mine are 3 inch dobo coils in a 200tdi with bar and soon to have winch
