Been looking in a mirror Discowhite?
Right click the image, then select "open image in new tab", and then open the new tab. Works for me.

Here is a pic of a P38 Tranny cooler fitted to my D1, Although its no for the Trans, I have plumbed it up to the power steering along with a bigger tank and sped up my power steering pump for comp use and wanted to keep it cool !
As you can see it fits neatly above the original trans cooler with a couple of brackets made up to hold it in place !

By build up link has the pic on the second page : Team Rovacraft Disco !!

    Cheers

    P38 transmission cooler in a D1

    P38 transmission cooler in a D1 Update
The P38 transmission cooler mod to my 300Tdi as described in my post of April 2009, has provided a significant improvement to the operating temperature of the Auto Transmission. With normal driving the box runs at 60 degrees C or less and when towing the caravan runs at 80-105 degrees C depending on the conditions , that is approx. 30 degrees C lower than before mods

which side of the cooler are you measuring the temp? the side coming from the transmission or the side going to the transmission?

As per my post of April 2009, I installed a VDO temperature sensor in the auto transmission pan linked to an analogue gauge in the cabin. This was suggested to me by the ZF Repair Workshop at Arndell Park.
