Finished Fusion Snorkel On My D1!!!

WWhhooooo Finaly finished the Fusion Snorkel Yesterday on my Disco series 1. I have taken a few pic's of the snorkel and the setup under the bonnet, VERY VERY happy with the outcome. Filled up all the holes in the bottom of the air box with sickaflex to make her real water tight. Will be getting thicker hose clamps but the thin ones i have on now to the job pretty well.

BIGGG Thanks to Fusion for his time and effort in makeing and installing the snorkel, i can say that this thing is sooo strong its not funny and the air that it sucks in is well lets just say my turbo could not be any happier, all i could say is GET ONE!!!!!
here are some pic's to enjoy.

    cheers simo

VERY solid indeed, mick was basicaly hanging off the thing and she didnt even budge, and you saw him take out half the state forest in the otways with his snorkel and she was still on there without a hitch.

Mate the only person who needs a roll cage would be yourself after your little antics out there

Thats a bit harsh. So Oscar decides to have a rest and lay down sometimes - whats the problem in that

    G'day Boxer,

It would be between $100 - $150. Big difference compared to the safari and airtec snorkels which retail at about $450 - $500. Think is being 3inch stainless steel very strong and sturdy and the air flow that it sucks its awsome. I've fitted tones of the safari and airtec's and when you look at them off a car i cant imagine paying so much for a them.

    x 2 Rubber Elbows - $31.70
    x 1 Rubber Elbow 90 DEG 3"ID - $17.99
    Air Ram 3" - $30.00

+ the piping and welding of the brackets which i got Fusion to do.

    cheers simo.
