Thread: 300tdi and running for short periods

Hi, this is my first time post after being a long time lurker.

I am looking at getting a 300tdi discovery. It will be my second discovery but first diesel. It will mainly be used as a second car/camper/toy, garaged most of the week and unless going camping will be used for short runs e.g. 5-10ks, with longer runs probably once per month. Does anyone see this as a problem and if so what can I do to get around it.

If you fill in your location details I'm sure you'll find someone who will take it for a decent drive for you .



The short runs won't hurt it at all but you might be able to use it as an excuse to do a regular camping trip .
