    Hey guys,
just looking into purchasing some detachable sway bar linkages and some cones all around for my 95 300tdi D1.

Does anyone know where i can get all this for a good price?

    Thanks,

Shamo I was just thinking with the dislocation cones your shocks are going to be the limiting factor at the moment.

I got mine from Aedofab in the US. They're cheap, arrived fast, take minutes to fit and are a great product.

I know this might seem like a dumb question.....

but the sway bar disconnect......do they disconnect and re connect in situ when off road?

or is it a ok going off road hit the track stop disconnect and throw them in the back?
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Its basicaly a matter of removing the pin and tying the sway bars up out of the way. I got mine from Disco Suspension

The disconnect i want and we are all talking about is only at two points (one on either side) so like basically half of the sway bar is still connected to the car. You could disconnect them and put them in the back but it would be a tonne more of stuffing around, where as the design i want is like a 30 second job where you just pull a pin (saves unscrewing a nut) and disconnect and move them up out of the way then you can just do the same when your finished. i was just going to take them right off but i wanted it to be safer on road, they dont call them anti roll bars for nothing :P

Thanks guys for the usefull links, after viewing all the pictures i am going to run with the same design as what the links showed that keithy and boxer posted up. Im just going to get some stainless steel rod and make some up in the shed, just need to cut up some lengths and drill some holes. (shouldnt be too much of a problem with the bench drill) and ive figured that it doesnt really matter if i dont drill straight anyway because it wont effect anything when it just has a clip through it.

If anyone is interested i can make up some BIG RED BANANAS
Now onto the cones, dano (the fish) seems to think that if i dont have different shocks to my current ones that i wont get enough extension out of them? No doubt this is true, but is there any light left? will i get any better or should i invest in the shocks somewhere down the road? i would still like to know also where i could get some cones as it would be nice to know where to source some when i can afford the new shocks (probably when i wear my current ones out)

    Thanks heaps,
    Shamo
