Is it worth buying the off set sunny rims? As i am trying to follow a very strict budget and if i sell my spare rims would that be be a wise way to spend the money? i have a 2" lift so i thought it would gain me some extra stability.

Somebody else will know the answer, but with 245/75s the extra offset might mean you need to trim the guards a bit more. The standard offset seems to allow the wheel to "tuck up" into the guard.

In terms of cost effectiveness it depends what you're trying to achieve. If it is just a different finish, I'd be inclined to repaint one of the sets in the colour you want and flog the others.

As strange as it sounds it could actually end out better financially if i sell my 4 spare rims use that coin to buy 5 sunraysia rims... then sell the 5 rims i have on the car now and use that money to get some sliders.

As if i re paint the ones on there now i will only get the money from the 4 rims to buy extras... if you get my train of thought?

They are currently selling as we speak... So now i have been told "Sunraysia" rims are just a style and that in fact many companies manufacture them. So i was wondering who makes them the cheapest? or does anyone know of a cheap steel wheel on the market which will suit the D1? 16" in a gloss black

    Cheers guys!

Everyone seems to be going for the Dynamic or are they dynamica rims
A mate got a set for his d2 a couple of months back i 'think' they were around $150 per rim, most likely cheaper for a d1 though
    They are the sunraysia style

I just bought 16x8 Dynamic rims ( 0mm offset) and fitted a set of BFG MT KM2's. The 0mm offset helped restore the turning circle, and the car feels more stable than on the Boost alloys with Pirelli ATR's. :

Rims were $115 each so I bought 6 - according the the shop they were the last 6 in the country

I will be fitting some Staun or 2nd Air beadlocks to 4 of them to keep the tyres on the rim at low pressure as they don't have the internal beadlock strip like the boost alloys have.
