Running on 7
Hi was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.
I have a D1 96' V8 3.9 and a few weeks ago after it sat for 2 weeks it was like it was running on 7 cylinders afetr i started it and took it for a run, but after warming slightly and clearing her throat it was fine. Anyway after sitting again for 2 weeks ( i work away ) this time no luck, like its running on 7 cylinders.
I have pulled all plugs ( was a fair bit of carbon on them, black soot ) plugs may have done 15,000k, replaced suspect lead, all leads were new magnacore ones i got last year. and scraped small amount of build up on dizzy cap and rotor button.
Thats about the length of my mechanical knowledge, should i replace the plugs and try again, or is there any ideas of what might be wrong?
Any advice would be awesome as i need her to tow in a week or so to move house

It might be a sticky valve if the problem only seems to happen when left for a while.
You could try feeding some upper cylinder lubricant through a vacuum port & giving the engine a rev tune.
