My old D1 on gas used to get nearly 300km out of about 75L lpg around town.
This is with the mixer style gas setup, not the injected one.
I always felt a better tune could increase that to 350km.

I have read others get similar mileage and sometimes up to 350-400km.

One thing I did notice was when I put in a new battery the mileage rose by 50km. So make sure you have a good battery, leads, rotor, etc. Gas likes a good spark.

I also found mileage could change by as much as 50km depending on where I filled up.

I get around 25l/100km on my LPG with a mix of town / motorway driving which I don't think is too bad.

Yeah I get about 200 - 250km from a fill which is usually about 54L into the triple scuba tanks.

Yeah, I used to only get 200-250 per fill on my old scuba tanks set ups.

Useable was around 60 from memory.
    The 3.9 is very thirsty.

60 ltr tanks = 160km ultra urban, 200 - 220km mixed, and 350km pure highway at 100 - 110 kmph fully loaded, surfboards on the roof.

    Smile mileage on gas

I've got a 3.5 on gas injection. I usually get 5 - 5.5 kpl which is around town with a bit of country road included. I've recorded 7.5 kpl from Melbourne to Ballarat and the same while loaded with my touring gear on highway trips. This is the same as I record on petrol. However I drive fairly conservatively to achieve this - when I get a bit heavy with the right foot around town it can drop as low as 4.5kpl.
