So much for all your quotes :D

took the car in today to have a straight pipe put in, in place of the box....

Just before I did it i asked for a quote to put 2.5" straight through from the turbo back.....

he asked mild steel or stainless...I replied mild steel as I said probably wont have the car long enough for that to rot out..

He climbs under the car to have a look gets out stands up and sayd arrrr I reckon about 1500bux....holy flying bat **** I was like yes thanks I will have the 80bux pipe put in please

So much for the 250 dollar quotes everyone is getting

hmmm, I think he probably didnt want the job so quoted something he knew would put you off. Tradies have told me they do that when they dont want a job. I thought saying "Sorry we cant help you with that" would have been easier!

as for the 80 bux from the two places I have asked at its between 60/80bux so dont think he was ripping me there chose him because he was the easiest to drop car off to this morning.
