24cm, so 26 or 27cm of clearance ought to be OK.

Well PSi has come up with the goods.

However since I just went and measured I didn't want to waste all my mm's

I measured it at approximately 220mm. Which seems at odds with the measurement in PSi's photo.

However I have a set of 210mm Rhino roof bars which only fit over the front section of the roof. When positioned on the rear they go close but the bar would need to be lifted about 15mm above the brackets to clear the roof in the rear. Plus the brackets would need a little trimmed off them maybe.

Rhinorack recommend the RL-280 mounts. I have some arriving tomorrow so we'll see how they go.

So I'd say there is some variability in there.

I assume you need the highest point of the roof and do you have any humps that need to be considered?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It would clear mine and it looks like it would clear PSi's too.

So I'd say go for it.

What sort of rack are you getting?
A fully fitted sort of rack or roof bars that you can chop and change bits on?

There is a roofrack thread on here somewhere that I read just yesterday that is full of great ideas.

    Found it
    show us your rack ...

    What brand rack bits?

Rhino state 1500mm bar widths for Disco 1 & 2.
    Which is what mine are.

Just to steal Stevo68's photo from the roofrack thread

That will be 280mm legs and 1500mm bars by the look of it.

Which raises another question for you. Do you have factory roof bars?
Looks like you need 280mm legs to clear them. Mine doesn't have the factory bars.

    Roof is 2150mm long.

Rear of roof to B pillar is 1500mm long.
So if you got 3 bars with the forward one on the B pillar then a 1600mm long rack would fit nicely I would think.
