Spare wheel for Disco with 33" wheels?
Is there any reason I can't use a series cheese cutter wheel or Defender one as my spare for the back on my Disco with 33" wheels?
I'd just like to do it to save weight. I'd get a tyre with close to the same diameter.Sorta like a the little pare sports cars often run to save space.
For serious off roading or far from civilization, I'd put my fatty on the back instead.

sure why not. Same diameter wont affect the driveline, it'll just look poxy when you have to use it, like the wheel of shame! I'm not sure how much weight you'd save thou.

I'm running the same Dynamic rim and 33 on the rear door of my Disco. It's no helium balloon, but it's a damn site lighter than the Landcruiser split rim I had to lift off a few weeks ago.
