    Fuel rail 3.9V8

Just a question about the test valve on the fuel rail.Have just replaced injectors and when pressurised the fuel rail noticed the valve is leaking and was wondering if it can be replaced with a normal tyre valve or is it a special part.

    Hellooooo!

AFAIK, a normal Schrader valve insert is fine! Just try and source a urethane type seal, not the rubber cheap ones.

thanks for the replies pulled the old one out it is a urethane Schrader type valve. Didnt need to replace mine in the end it was full of rubbish after cleaning the fuel rail.So a bit of a clean and back in action.
