Thread: 96 v81 discovery

I had the extra two seats in the back of mine, when i removed them i noticed you will have to cut slots into the trim to allow for the mounting brackets.
So there's a fair chance you will have to buy the mounting brackets if you havn't all ready

is there any diff in the v8i and the se apart from the electric sunroof and leather seats?

I told the wreckers it is a v8i and they said they come as a 5 seater but is factory fitted to take 7 and theres nothing that you have to do to the car to add the extra seats except buy the seat kit and put it in..... is this true....i didnt want to spend alot of money for the seats and find out they dont take it

I didn't notice your d1 is a 96 modal, so you will have a different interier to mine
Mines a 200 tdi (1992) i doubt there would be any difference between v8 and diesel keep an eye out on ebay they come up on there every so often

at this stage colour doesnt really matter as i can only take 3 kids with me thats why i am in need of the other 2 seats just as long as they fit is the main thing

Call TRS in SA.
They always have seats and dicky seats in stock and pretty well priced.

Ask them those questions too and they will have the amswers.

I believe they the biggest Land Rover dismantler in southern hemisphere.
