you can as long as your disco is old enough that airbags were factory option not standard I believe....however you can ignore that at your own risk

Yes to fitment, no without engineering the bar mounting points to gain approval for fitting to a SRS vehicle... Any insurance company will wipe their hands of you after an accident, especially if it involves any personal injury or death.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Legally no, it is classed as tampering with a safety feature and will need some very good reason and an engineers report to get away with it.

Practically yes, it is as easy as unplugging the sensors on the front of the chassis rails on the MA D1, and the single point sensing system in MY1996 onward is located under the centre console.

I don't like SRS particularly myself, but I guess it does save more lives than if it wasn't there...

Wouldn't think the bar it self would be different.
l'd think the chassis to bar brackets would be different, S2 with air bag has the concitina section.
Also believe the D1 and early D2s had same width chassis rails, latter D2 was wider. Don't know change date, sorry.
Do I detect a change of vehicle, should be all right now the heads done !!!

does it depend on the sort of bar though, the one im getting is a cheaps ass tube/steel bar not like the news ones you get now, its off a non airbag 91 discovery.
