    Contour Roof Rack with OEM roof bars.

    Here's a photo of my Discovery and a close up of the mod of the roof rack to make it fit on the OEM roof bars.





    I have a 1" spacer - aluminium with a plastic block insert (thanks to the Mr Ho-Har) I notched the cross member - and glued a 3mm rubber strip into the notch with SIKAFlex to protect the OEM roof bar. The weight bears down on the roof bar, so there is hardly any stress on the outside legs.

    what brand of Roof rack is it ? or should I ask who makes that particular roof rack?

    I bought it off DRanged - no Idea where it comes from. Just sprayed the aluminium with a hammer finish grey.
