Even though we broke a rocker it looks like the valve is ok per compression test. Hopefully thats the last of that adventure.

The new parts i,e compressor, deflators, 2nd hand winch bar fund just disappeared......

Lucky the glass it always half full eh.....

    Thanks for the pointers everyone.

    Have a good weekend.

If you find that she is down on power and blow's a little smoke at some point down the track, then dont forget to check the threads for the rocker shaft pedastal mounts. These alloy threads can be weakened/stripped when a belt goes. If you broke a rocker then it certainly could have done some damage. However as your back in action it is just something to watch for in future. It happened to my brother-in-law and these symptoms didnt appear for 6months, then he investigated and found one of his rocker shaft studs just sitting loosely which resulted in a bent rocker shaft. Easily fixed with a helicoil and new shaft.

after a little bit of searching, no one seems to know conclusively, but my guess would be around the 19bar mark on a 200tdi
