Started on a new front bar

Not much to show yet, but I'll post up new pics tomorrow.

This is how it look about lunch time today. Now has front plate and side bars. Just want to keep it fairly simple, doesn't weigh too much and gives pretty good approach angle. Few more tricks to do to it, but should have it done by next weekend.

    No airbags, no ABS.

Works out good that way though when it comes to chopping and changing.

Are you planning to keep the winch bolted face down? I would recommend make the bolt location face forwards. I made up a cradle for my old rangie with 6mm bent steel, cut up a non winch bar and fitted it.

Unfortunately with my disco, i too have SRS!!

Seen heaps of winches bolted face down

It ain't going anywhere. I've done alot more on it, but I've decided to make it more streetable, so I'll be cutting back some bits and re-doing. The main thing winch wise I am doing is using winch rope, not heavy dangerous cable.
