    Question for Adelaide disco 300tdi owners

    Has anyone had their fuel injectoin pump tweaked and if so who did it.
    Did you upgrade intercooler ?
    Have you redone exhaust ? if so who and how much ?

    Hi.
    I went to TRS to do intercooler and tweak pump.

    yes it improved but i will now take it to a diesel tuner as I feel they turned the fuel up too much and it plumes a bit.

    Diesel yuner also at lonsdale and no is 83847211.
    they came highly recommended.
    The intercooler cost $600 plus fitting.

    Later I may go to Blackwood Dyno to do a proper dyno tune.

    Dad had his done at Murray Bridge recently, some diesel & turbo joint on the main drag.

    Pepped it up nicely, cost about $150 from memory (although they checked out a few other things too).

    Pulls like a train down low, but seems to starve at the top end. Have to get the injector timing checked out next.

    Got mine done at Peter Brown's Land Rover, down Plympton way (PCB Land Rovers).

    It has a tiny bit of extra smoke when you floor it, but not plumes. Definitely perked it up.

    No change to intercooler or exhaust.

    He did it as part of an 80,000Km service, so no separate charge as far as I could see.
