    cdl light

    Hello all
been reading and searching but i am getting confused a bit so i have to ask.
The light 4wd (CLD ) is on all the time. I jacked up front and rear passanger tyres and in any position turning one turns the other is this ok

should i go to a dealer to get the anti lock light to go off?

    Cheers Rob

assuming you mean CDL (center diff lock) this light and the anti lock light are two completely different things.

if your anti lock light is illuminated it could be a faulty wheel sensor.....

If its your CDL light on you need to take your center diff lock out before you destroy things with wind up.....

Anti lock says it is in the light

CDL lights up showing a pic of the drive train

    Rob,
To find out if your centre diff is locked jack up one front wheel. Put transmission in neutral. If diff is unlocked you will be able to turn the wheel.

to take out the centre diff lock all you need to do is pull the small lever next to the main gear stick to the right (towards the steering wheel)the light should extinguish unless you have significant wind up in the transmission.

can you shift the lever to the left? if you can then your CDL is not locked!
