Jim, mate,
you don't tell us what top you are talking about. As engine, gear box and TC use different oils it should be not too difficult to establish the main source. Then look for the ultimate reason (probably a leaking gasket or flange).
We all have had this before, haven't we? Remember that any Landy can leak from anywhere!
Cheers & Good Luck!
There is a fault with the vacum pump for brake booster (small leak), it seam diesels don't have a vacum so they had to add one. I got a price to replace the part, you don't want to know how much!!!!!
If the vaccum pump itself is leaking it is a sign for trouble to come as it will fail without warning, leaving you with no brake pressure all of a sudden. Been there, done that (with a trailer behind
, tried to stop at a toll booth, came to a halt about 50m behind, luckily no car in front of me. PHEEEW...). Replacement is not difficult and the cost of a pump negligible compared to what can happen if it fails.
In your case, though, my bet is on the gasket, which can be replaced easily and for little money.
Just my 2c...
