    4BD1T on a Disco I. What kind of coil spring to use?

    Need help on selecting a front heavy duty coil spring to use on my Disco I as an Isuszu 4BD1T is ready to be install on it. I will lke to keep the ride 1.5" higher than the stock. Can anyone help? Thanks.

    Have a look at this -
    land rover spring specifications

    The 4bd1 seems to be only 30kg heavier than the 300tdi - but since you're wanting LHD, you have to things a little different. (not just swap sides).

    Try experimenting with some lifted rear coils from a Disco or Rangie.
