yes yes yes, it was soooooo hard to find. i got the run around from evrey one about if you can get one or not, its a rollmaster cs7000 i paid 135$ au for it and it is steel cam and steel crank gear with german chain, that is a twin or duplex chain. this fits 3.9-4.6 if i can rember corectly. very very nice quality, it has 9 positions to retard or advance. i would have paid up to 300 for it. a huge jump from a nylon cam gear.

roll master it made by the same company that make "jp preformance" hope this was helpful.

let me know how you go with it, i had one problem fitting it, the camshaft size is 1 inch but the hole in the cam gear (the larger gear) is ("1.125") at first look it appears to be the wrong cam gear set, but it slides all the way down the cam shaft aprox 2 inchs, to alow for the distributer (if you have one) gear to be driven on the end. in other words, it will look bad at frirst but it dose fit, reasion being i stripped the engine down and then re assembled it 3 months later, forgetting the cam went down all the way first off. (made an ass of my self calling the supplyer) lol the dots on the multi spline can be confusing when you set it up let me know if you have any dramas, cheers, jeff

ps thanks for the thumbs up

hi, jp preformance is a trading name as is rollmaster. they are a brand that is sold by an engineering company (cant rember there name) so they are both brands, when i call the company they said that they would sell to me direct but they dident want to "cut out there lunch" meaning that i would get it cheeper from a retail store, he offerd it to me for 180$ au and i bought it for aprox 135$ aprox from.... "victorian speed-pro distributors"

listed as "speed pro" contact chris cripps ph (03)97945177

open saterday untill lunch i think.

it would be kind of you to keep this info online as it took me about 5 hrs to conferm you can get a steel gear set for a land rover. let me know if you have any drams fitting. btw, my rover is still on the engine stand. rpi engineering in the uk stuffed up my order again, after 2 weeks they havent enven charged me for a new oilpump and have to send it now. so no i dont know how it will run, i will say this tho, i would have paid 300 bucks for it. the quality is amazing, and the chain is tight when fitted., only aobut 3 or 4 mm of slack. very good quality. and in reguards to how well the engine will run, i cant say i would be able to prove it was the gear, i set mine to zero and i am running a brand new custom grind camshaft built for torque. it is so high torque i may even loose some standerd horsepower. os valves and a new compression of 10.5 to 1 the original one was 8.13 to 1 as soon as its assembled ill post a video on youtube. (sharing is caring)

i will say, after rebuilding the whole engine and all the machining i recon the best value for money was the camshaft. custom grind brand new for only 214 $ inc gst
