    Disco radio

The radio in my 97 disco died and I was considering a replacement. I was in Aldi yesterday and they had radio with cd and it takes sd card, usb and ipod input etc.. It was $89.00 and it took me all of 15 minutes to fit because the plugs in the back were exactly the same as the landrover original. Plug and play. Sounds better than the original ever did. All six speakers work too. Price is terrific....

I bought one of those Aldi stereos yesterday. I took the old radio out this evening when I had a couple of spare and plan to stick the new one in tomorrow. It's good to know it'll be as straight forward as I hoped it would be!

    Cheers,
On the box it has the following.

ONIX car stereo, CD compatble, am/fm, USB/SD card slot. It has Aldi code 7697 on the box also. 1 year warranty. Telephone 1300886649 for Aldi sales support.

Aldi have a website but I wouldn't think they sell on ebay. Phone the above number and ask them.

Col, any chance of getting the model number off your old Eurovox radio?
It'll be 7479 or something like that.

Sorry but it went in the bin and I no longer have it.

I've got a card with eurovox on it and it says the model is "7479R". My old radio was a Kenwood and I don't know if this was a replacement for the original factory fitted radio.

My apologies as this doesn't reference directly the thread title, but.......

I've just discovered my Disco has a CD stacker under the drivers seat!!
Yep, I've had my Disco a REALLY LONG time

It doesn't work, but I'm thinking about pulling it out and see if I can get it to function for the Mrs.

Was this standard? Anybody personally installed or set one up?
