were you on boost? check your hoses from the turbo for splits or signs of internal collapse
First problem that I have had with the 300Tdi since we bought it. Had sudden power loss going around the round about... going to change the fuel filter tomorrow. Any other ideas as to what could be wrong?![]()

doubt on boost...down around 1200rpm an no load..
Usually a fuel supply thingy... clogged filter??? Fuel leak??? Is the lift pump working??? What about the injectors???

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
no idea about injectors... how would I know if they were stuffed?
couldn't be that dodgy fuel pump connection that seems to crop up all the time could it

fuel pump connnection that goes from tank to pump to injectors?
fuel pump in the tank I presume......people have had problems I think with the re cars cutting out when on the road and then restating without a problem I believe one of the connections on the fuel pump can corrode or become lose meaning that every now and again the car gets starved of fuel..
I'm only guessing its as it has been a common post of late...I will see if I can find any posts
