How do I fix the Glove box Rattle?

I have a loose part in the glove box. The alloy part that the glove box catch attaches to.
I've had a feel, a look with a mirror and taken a couple of snaps inside the glove box trying to find a bolt to tighten it, all to no avail.
How is this panel attached in there??
(some pics, sorry a bit out of focus as I took them with the camera in the glove box and could not focus)

Have a look at this thread from a couple of weeks ago:

    http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...-question.html

If it is the same metal bracket part, glue and screw it in as in the thread.

I have also found that the screws that hold the lock on become loose and then the glove box front rattles.
I just loctited them in place.

suggest you don't look too hard at modern cars then, I'm told that the fire wall (amongst others) on a particular Australian built car is glued (albeit good glue) in place, and a particular mod race teams make is to have it welded to stiffen up the body.

Dunno if this is correct but I read it on the internet so it must be true????

Yes but LR must use the same glue for the Glove box as they have on the headling, they don't use the GOOD GLUE.

Try using the "Macro" function on your camera.
Bit scary for us guys because the button has a picture of a flower on it.
press it once and you are Laughing for close up photos.
press it again and you are back to normal.

    Normal focus - 1m -> infinty
    Macro focus - 100mm - 1m
Super Macro - 10mm - 150mm (DSLR and Semi DSLR Cameras) thows bigger ones.

Oh flash still works, some times its too bright or gets reflected.
Try turning the flash level down or grab a little torch, I like my LED head lamp. (look like a geek fulla bugger me,, but it works great just to sit some where), (Vartia or something $14 from bunnings and works as good as a $100 job)

Damn straight! Once you get fancy extras in discos like glove-boxes and rear doors... it just gives you more rattles!
