there is a bleed screw on top of the fuel filter houseing bolted to the firewall. Just run the engine and slowly loosen it off, its a messy job so wear some latex rubber gloves or something so you dont have to put up with the smell of diesel on your hands for the next year

Alternatively you can loosen each fuel line to each injector and let some fuel out there. These are all things i tried when i have the bolts mixed up. matt

Just a thought to annoy the crap outa you. Just because something is new and has been replaced in the last couple of months dosnt mean that it cant fail. It wouldnt be the first time I have seen new bits fail. As advised, remove and physicly check inter cooler hoses etc. Give your engine bay a good pressure clean to get rid of dust, remove the inlet pipe (make bloody sure you leave nothing laying there loose), now take it for a run up a sealed road.
    cheers

I'm trying to think of things that could've been shaken loose or something on the trip...

Fuel line intake in the tank? Maybe blocked if the offroading has shaken up some sediment in the tank.

That little wire on the back of the injector pump (solenoid cut off or something?) If the engine has been in and out recently, and with the offroading, the wire might be a bit dodgy in the plug. Mine shook itself loose with just normal road driving!

Although, if this is stuffed it'll usually kill the car altogether.

But its easy enough to check at least. Take the plug off and see what the wire condition is like in the connector. Again with mine, it looked all good but when i popped the plug off the wire just fell out

has the boost compensator hose been damaged?

if thats leaking you'll get symptoms similar to what you're describing.

if its a new/recal pump and the problem has only been on since you put the pump on is it even calibrated correctly for your engine?
