    D1 Dash illumination??

    OK D1 owners, I have a friend who thinks his pointers in his dash have just become a shaddow at night??? The rear lighting seems to be working on the dial faces but the pointer/needles apear as a shadow? Is he going nuts or has he lost something?

    Cab someone tell me how the pointers are lit?

    John, there are no lite pointers.
    There are only a couple (i´m not sure if 2 or 3) of bulbs that illuminate numbers and pointers from above.
    May be one of these is burnt...

    you sure he hasn't had a bulb go there are a few in there that light the dash an surrounds
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
