    Clutch Issue/Revs

Hi everyone, my 1993 DISCO V8 3.9 manual...when I engage the clutch the revs either rise or remain the same... it's not dropping the revs at all when I change gears. Every other manual I've driven, when you press the clutch in the revs drop to about idle speed. I don't know whats wrong with my disco? Any ideas or people experiencing this issue?

Does the throttle seem to sticking? I have had my noisy pedal fouling against the panel under the dashboard.

also, when I'm slowing down at the lights and bring the gears down, when I step on the clutch its the same as stepping on the accelerator; the revs climb to near 2000rpm. Getting tired of it.

    Simple stuff to check ...
Check the TPS is in good nick and "varies in voltage" smoothly from close to open & back again

... Also clean out the Stepper unit

Do you do our own "mechanical" ... or employ one??
