Follow the top radiator hose to where it attaches to the engine, the thermostat lives inside the housing that the hose attaches to.

I think there are 2 bolts on the drivers side, on either side of the small bypass hose, take these off, and the thermostat is in there.

Only cost a few dollars, so best to replace when checking the system.
Pretty sure it is an 88deg C one.

Water wetter, wouldn't bother with it myself, just make sure your coolant is good.

That water wetter gets mixed reactions from who ever you talk to. I wasn't convinced about it either untill last years UAE Desert Challenge event where we experianced some very high temperatures throughout the five days of racing.
A few of the race cars were experiancing over heating issues, one of the teams happened to have a box of the stuff and gave some to the guys to try.
Low and behold it actually helped reduce the running temperature of some of the cars and they were able to carry on.

Don't ask me why..but there is a website that can give the technical explanations.

if i have learned corectly depending on what efi system you have you will expecience problems if you run too cold a thermostat (like most efi systems on regular cars) too cold a signal from the temp sender will keep your car in like an auto choke mode wich increses the injection pulsewidth injecting more fuel making it run rich all the time and guzzle even more fuel... colder isnt always better.
