I'll put them on tonight and see if it fixes the deadly swerving problem. They cost as much as a set of 31" Mudstar Tyres, GRRRRRRRR!
where did you get them from?
are they the same as these ones

they arent that expensive when you look at any quality shock really.
Let us know what you think of them. I am thinking of removing the billies in favour of these in longer travel.
Yes that is them, and thats what I paid for them, $600 with boots, and nolathane (Or what ever they are called)bushes in the top rear mounts. Thats the same price as I would have to pay for a set of 31x10.50x15 Mudstars, but then without good shocks tyres aren't any good anyway.

have you got a link for the mudstars,,,,that's pretty cheap for a set of 31's, are they retreads/2nd hand?
cheers
Thats a new set, not retreads, he said it was a one off set at that price, if I wanted any more it would be $175 per tyre for 31x10.50x15's, $220 per tyre for 32x11.50x15's and $245 for 33x12.50x15's. I would really love a set of Coopers but a set of 33x12.50x15's would cost me $300 per tyre.
It's fixed!!!!!!!!. I changed the shocks, the front ones were completely rooted, they had zero compression resistance. Test drove the Disco and it was about 70% better, but it still wasn't right. It still lept from lane to ditch with each bump in the road over 90kph. I decided to check tyre pressures and the max tyre pressure for the tyres is 50psi, all the tyres had 60psi in them. I dropped them to 40psi and it drives like a new truck now, and every little bump doesn't shatter my teeth. I figure the last owner decided that airing up the tyres would fix the shock problem. Anyway, handles like a new car now, so I am very happy.
