My 3.9 d1 has been sitting undercover for approx 5months awaiting overhauls on brakes and rear diff. During this time i have been undertaking other little jobs on it. However, I came to start it yesterday to bleed the brakes and i had noticed after the engine had warmed up that the seam around the overflow tank had started to leak.I find this very curious.
Is this common?
Cheers
Rob
First decent hot weather here in Adelaide this week and guess what.........
My old black plastic bottle split at the seams
I live 15 mins from TRS, handed over my credit card and hey presto I was home before the coolant level became low enough to make the temp gauge budge. Installation took me 2 beers as I sat back and instructed my 8 year old lad on installation.
Why can't all problems be so simple![]()
Gee you got out of it cheap. Only 2 Beers
I'm doing a gearbox removal, pretty hard due to my disability, But I reckon it will be worth at least a slab when I finally get it done, doing a little bit every day, 3rd day now, I think tomorrow I be able to lower the box.
Bloody hot in the tin garage, I put a fan in today, a breeze made all the difference.
Purchased a new one on fleabay this A.M will be here 2moro.
