Thread: D1 overflow tank

The old Black plastic tanks are well known to split at the seam. The plastic goes brittle as well . The later update ones are white, opaque plastic.

First decent hot weather here in Adelaide this week and guess what.........

I live 15 mins from TRS, handed over my credit card and hey presto I was home before the coolant level became low enough to make the temp gauge budge. Installation took me 2 beers as I sat back and instructed my 8 year old lad on installation.

Why can't all problems be so simple

I'm doing a gearbox removal, pretty hard due to my disability, But I reckon it will be worth at least a slab when I finally get it done, doing a little bit every day, 3rd day now, I think tomorrow I be able to lower the box.
Bloody hot in the tin garage, I put a fan in today, a breeze made all the difference.

Purchased a new one on fleabay this A.M will be here 2moro.
