Thanks JC. This is the serpentine belt motor.
If the 88d thermostat is the better choice then I will just exchange it.
I'd rather do it now than later.

I tried to go to FWD Motors but they were shut so had to resort to REPCO. Hopefully REPCO have the right one in stock tomorrow.

I don't actually know the current one needs replacing but might as well while I'm doing all the other bits.
