Trust me, when the motor is hot .... you should hear it ... + you can feel it from the motor when it's locked up ... as it robs power from the motor

Get that checked too ..... Radiator man knows how to do (check) it....

ok i herd from the radiator guy today the rad was 60% bloked

down side stupid guy hit it with a gerny and blew halfs the fins out
then told me he could recore it for 600 with a 4 core or 400 for a 3 core


what do you guy reacon i should do? i reacon i should get a discount on it now

pressure washing a radiator is a bit stupid. However if it blew the fins out instead of just folding them over then I assume they were pretty knackered anyway.

^^^that, if he hit it with the pressure washer with low pressure, the rad is cactus, its got rot and being 60% blocked it would be likely

If he high pressure washed it, he's a silly billy:D

I'm with the boys on suggesting that your Rad was cactus in the first place ... and the rad man did you a favour by cleaning it down :)

3 cores that you could see that needed plugging + 60% blocked = cactus


The prices you have been quoted are pretty good ... 3 core should keep you happy and do just fine ... 4 core for hard work in hot conditions / Towing, hill climbing
