Check your coolant level. The converter could be freezing up.

Is there a fuel shut off valve under the bonnet?
(Been a while since I've looked at LPG systems)
They shut fuel flow when on gas mode so maybe isn't alowing fuel flow when needed.
    Cheers, Kyle

Pretty sure alien d2 is right, in that there is a fuel shut of solenoid valve that stops the fuel flow when you run on LPG and vice versa.

As p38arover said, I thought it was coolant that ran through the LPG convertor to prevent freezing?

As the liquid expands in the converter, it cools and can freeze up the converter. (It's the opposite of the heating caused when one compresses a gas, e.g., in a tyre pump).

if you start it on petrol does it do the same thing i think it could be a blocked fuel filter or a pump wearing out. my lpg disco 1 petrol runs non stop it just recycles around the fuel lines thats why they tell you to have atleast 1/4 full of fuel even if not using it (keeps pump cool). somethings to check anyway

EFI donks with LPG don't have a petrol shut off, the system just stops the injectors firing when on gas. Check your fuel press at the fuel rail - there is a schraeder valve located there (driver's side of motor) should be around 32-36 PSI & when you rev it should increase slightly (this proves the fuel pressure regulator is OK). Could also be dirty injectors, this is why you need to run on petrol at regular intervals, to keep the injectors clean - run some injector cleaner through it.
    Good luck!
