ZF Auto oil change - anything special?

    Hi Folks,
Well I am going to attempt a filter and oil change on the ZF this weekend. Is there any special tools or tricks to remember BEFORE I am up to my arms in Dexron and getting close to closing time for all the shops.?
So far I know I need to get
    a. the filter and seal kit.
    b. There are 3 Torx screws to remove - so I guess I need to get the right sized tip (does anyone know the size for sure?)
    Anything else?

    Cheers - Matti

    Torx bit is T27.

The sump pan is easier to remove if you remove the 2 nuts for the rear mounts and jack the trans up away from the crossmember.
(Don't forget to undo the dipstick tube first)

The passenger side rear sump pan bolt can be difficult to get to.

Make sure you move the shifter between all gears and check the fluid after that, and after a short drive.

Thanks JC - all went as planned.
Yes you are right - the passenger side rear pan bolt is impossible to get a spanner of any kind onto.
I removed the 4 bolts from the transmission mount at that location and the single nylock nut for the chassis bolt (same bracket) and was able to slide the mount up to give access to the nut. This adds an extra 20 minutes to a 5 minute bolt removal process
The pan came out with a slight twist to the right and you must also have your tongue sticking out of your mouth in the right way.
    Cheers for the hints.
