Thread: '91 D1 Blower only works when 'air control switch' on AC

Car is 91/92 disco v8i

The blower works on all speeds (now that ive replaced the burnt out speed switch), but not at all when not on AC setting.

Note, when changing the 'air control switch' (for want of the proper term) you can here the vacuum lines changing the flaps, and ive inspected this switch and it seemed ok.

The following picture illustrates what my control panel looks like, the switch in mention is on the bottom left (not fully shown). The AC setting is part of it, and is the farthest left setting of the 4 positions. (only 2 of four settings are shown)
