Well first of all shut it down ASAP as a diesel will run up side down which is no good for the bearings
To restart after a roll over id remove the injectors and crank it over in case any oil has made its way in to the cylinders![]()
Speaking from experience...
After you come to and crawl out the smashed passenger door window you lie on the ground and wonder WTF happened.
You then find the first aid kit and the satphone and slowly keeping passing in and out of consciousness whilst you call for help.
The last thing you worry/think about about is the complete wrecked Disco you are now leaning against.

I am guessing you are talking about a slow speed tip onto it's side.
When upright, clean the spilt battery acid with water if possible.
Remove injectors / spark plugs (as applicable).
Check engine oil level and coolant level.
Wind the engine over slowly by hand to clear oil from the combustion chambers. Once none is coming out, crank it on the starter long enough to get oil pressure.
Refit spark plugs / injectors.
Start and run engine, check for leaks.
That should do for starters...
Also reset the engine cut out (tilt) switch up on the firewall.

Nup.
You have to press the button again on a RRC with injection anyway. It is under the passenger seat on a RRC.
Before I knew this I once came upon a nice RRC that a son had borrowed from his father and rolled near Delicate Nobby. Couldn't get the thing started even though it landed on its wheels after a slow roll. Father wasn't completely happy.
