    It's listed as a 433/434mhz unit ... and RAVE says my D2a is the same frequency.

    Programming via my Nanocom.

    Guess I'll find out soon enough

    According to RAVE and my VIN number it's the correct frequency (433mhz)

    Programming is the easy bit if you have access to the gear (Nanocom ? will do nicely) providing the key comes with the barcode.
    Scott, I have the Nanocom, and I believe that the Fob can be matched to the vehicle w/o the barcode (it's a new genuine key ... I'm assuming it will include the barcode) ... instructions from Nanocom explaining how to use the code off the back of the transmitter circuit board to program can be found on AULRO forum with a search.

    No, mine's a 4A, not YA ... but RAVE says my D2a is 433mhz ... same as the key purchased.

    We'll see soon enough I guess.

    Cheers

    That key (for the P38 Ebay auction) looks nothing like a D2 key.

    Looks to me like they just copied another auction, changed the listing description, but not the content/description ... D2 keys and P38 keys aren't the same ... are they ??

    No, haven't got the key yet, but when it arrives I'll update the thread ...

    See here ===>>> http://www.aulro.com/afvb/electronic...sociation.html

    ... for procedure to recode a key without the barcode.

    Ahh ... I might just correct my earlier posts here ... it was Microcat I obtained the plip frequency from for my D2a, not RAVE.

    VIN no. into Microcat and it tells me what frequency my Alarm Systems & Door Lock Frequencies are ...
