the car had done 140k klms in total, though not sure how long the lockers had been fitted. they look very clean on the outside as if the weren't fitted for a particularly long time, although that may have been that the parters steam cleaned them before removing. back is easy enough to fit that i think i will just chuck it in and see how it goes. need to take off the right rear hub to check for an oil leak anyhow, prime opportunity

fitting new SLS airbags at the same time, and will pull the SLS compressor apart as a pre-emptive measure against water ingress.
got some time off until mid may, so might spend some time taking pics and post it all up.
really looking forward to playing around with it

also need to fit 2" raised springs to the other D2, should do an instructable on that as well ?

If you only fit one when you have the luxury of two sitting there you will more then likely end up cursing yourself one day when your stuck some where out in the boonies.
I have only used my front locker once in anger and only when I had to. If I hadn't had two then I might still be sitting out there.

Think of two lockers as insurance and for the added peace of mind for that really sticky situation when one just isn't enough to get you out.

Just a thought but I bet half the people calling you aren't chasing their first locker, they are after a second one for their front.

    cheers,
    Terry
