    D1 vs D2 coil springs

    Are these the same ? anyone have pics of comparison?

    IIRC they are different. I think DII springs have a flattened bottom to go on a flat seat, while DI springs don't.

    Yeah, different heights due to different size lower spring perches. I think the D1/2 rears will still interchange.

    The fronts are not compatible. D1 are ground top and bottom, D2 is ground top and pig tailed bottom.

    This said, I'm pretty sure the D1 and D2 lower spring perches are also interchangable.

    The rears are interchangeable,thats why ome and others sell the same springs for d1 and d2 but thats not right since d1 and d2 have different weight distribution.
    That also why many people(me also) use d1 spring seats (perches) for the rear,it gives about 15mm lift to correct the error of spring manufacturers.
