Done it a couple of times, someone posted a diagram here to remember which post which lead goes on. It's an absolute bugger for big hands, lever the wiring harness out of the way and get a strong light. If I am doing gas injection on a D2 I have to take the top off the manifold, then there's room enough.

Also if you get an old screwdriver and bend it you can lever the old leads of a lot easier.
