im after the exact same thing,, just coolent, boost and oil
Was thinking of putting 4 extra gauges in a dash top pod .
Would get them to match the black background , white needle and markings of factory gauges. Other options would be digital read out but wanted
to maintain the analogue look.
Some questions.
1. Was thinking of ; engine temp , EGT, Oil temp and Oil pressure as they seem to be the most important. What are your thoughts.
2. Can we use any existing wiring/ tapping points to run electrtonic gauges or do they need to be direct connect raw data sensing
3. In my 02 I don't particularly want the ash tray so was going to use that spot. See any probs?
4. Any one have/seen a good quality dash top pod

It rather depends on what you mean by good quality.
Here are a few options:
MUDSTUFF.CO.UK, MUD Dashboard Pod - 'MudPod', Land Rover Defender Solutions: West Yorkshire
Car Consoles & 4WD Storage Drawers - Department of the Interior - overhead consoles, roof consoles, custom built consoles, 4WD interiors, storage systems, vehicle consoles, radio console, dashboard pod, four wheel drive.
