    CV joint replacement D2

    I have a clunking noise with right hand lock, think its the CV joint(s)

    Are they hard to replace?

    In one word, YES.

    Unless you have a decent workshop with a powerful rattle gun, you won't be able to get the stake nut off. If you manage to get it off, you'll probably need a big hydraulic press to separate the bearing assembly from the driveshaft, as it will probably be rusted on.
