Arms are a waste of your cash... Get some Superpro bushes and you'll be sorted for around $200.00
They are a bugger to fit being metal bonded, so you will need access to a press for about an hour.

Thanks Tombie,
I fitted some steel rims with 245/75/16 Bighorns last week and the car drives fine now.
The issue seemed to have a lot to do with the 18" rims and HP tyres.
I am happy with the handling again now and the car does not tram track anymore.
Mate, ust have something to do with the condition of the rim (rims) or tyres.
I run 35s with 16" rims and have interchanged 18s and 16 inch rims with different size tyres and did not suffer what you have experienced.
I just went and had a look at the tyres and 2 are only around 10,000km old and the other 2 maybe 30,000km at most.
There does not appear to be any uneven wear that I am aware of, however I did have a driveline vibration with the HP's as well and thought it was due to the lift. The vibration is also gone after fitting the new rims and tyres, the HP's where rotated, balanced and wheel alignment done only 1,000km ago.
I have read some bad reports on the HP's stated the tram tracking and also difficulty in keeping them balanced especially when going offroad with the those tyres.
Hi Shaker, Well you have confirmed the castor is too low. Not sure what is available, but I can check on Monday. Ideally you need a 2 degree set. You may find 3 degrees is all that is available. The spread left to right would be better the other way around ( and at a half degree or so different ), but you cannot shift that unless you rotate the hubs independant of each other. I recall seeing several threads on slotting hubs on the forum, if you wish to pursue this line of thinking.
Slotting hubs is not an option on the D2
I am re-floating (pun intended given the way she rides the ruts at high speed) this thread. I am going to put in the Superpro caster correction bushes but leave (new) rubber ones on the chassis end...dont want to lose the great noise and vibration isolation these vehicles have. I am doing all steering bushes and top and bottom ball joints and rear panhard bushes. I think at the end the thing will do better at speed than when it came out of the factory (which was impressive).
Cheers
