Thread: Disco 2 Castor Correction?

    Disco 2 Castor Correction?

My coil sprung Disco 2 is annoyingly "tram tracking".
This became slightly evident after a 2" suspension lift, but became worse after I fitted 30mm spacers to the rear to compensate for rear drawers, fridge etc.

Does anybody know of availability of castor correction bushes, I believe it needs around 1.5° - 2° of correction.

i am running a 5" lift in my D2 and i have no castor problems ,i would be checking to see if your draglink and track rod is in good working condition all the bushes and joints and i know atleast 4 other D2 running 4"lifts in oz and are not experiencing castor problems

front end needs to be in good working order also get a proper alignment and balance where they do toe in and out ect
Les Richmond does do castor correction but before spending un nessary dollars check the above
    cheers kelvin

    Yes as above.

I have a 4" and have none of your problems, to high a tyre pressure can cause tram linning.

I remember when I did my first lift, it was 2" I actually thought it drove better after the lift.

Also check your tyre condition. Actually the stocker 255's on 16 are bad for it too from what I can gather.
    Cheers

Tyre pressure is 38psi all round.

The real problem definitely coincided with the fitting of the spacers, was a slight problem prior but only after the 2" lift.

I will double check the suggested items, although I would hope the front end aligners would have done that.
