    Dont forget, the bigger tyres wil make your km's longer and the speed slower.
    Better to use your GPS for distance traveled when working out fuel used.

    20 sounds hi but as stated the tyres make a big difference i run 245/75/16 s on the td5 and add 4% to the kms to get an acurate figure Went to Kimberleys last year did over 20,000kms towing my Jayco flamingo outback 1.6 tonne and recorded 15.4L/100 kms again its a diesel but my other 2 discos were V8 petrol and only recorded that sort of figure footing it and with bad head winds with my roof rack

    last Christmas towed the 1200kg camper to Bundaberg from Toowoomba on a Friday night,, 400 kays in 4 hours(seriously).

    21.5l per 100.

    dont ever think the little V8 wont do the hard yards,,

    you just need to back it up with your wallet
