Eh ???????
You've got to be kidding me.
One of the advantages of HID is how much cooler they are than conventional halogen globes. It's part of the reason why they last thousands of hours longer.
There are many vehicles out there in which you have to be careful if you upgrade the halogen globes to higher than original wattage. Modern plastic lenses can in some cases be burnt, and some plastic formed reflectors can melt (I've personally had this happen in an XF Falcon). Using HID instead of higher power halogen globes virtually eliminates this problem - and produces a far superior light output.
Cheers .........

I Qld Im pretty sure you need self levelling suspension to have them retrofitted at least as low beams.
Cheers
FYI Be aware when buying lens units ( semi sealed beams etc) from overseas.
Left Hand Drive lens glass has a different diffuser/dip pattern ...and in OZ this will direct the light up and into the middle of the road rather than to the kerb.
Ask the questions before you buy.
That's why they make you stick black patches over parts of the H/L lens when you drive a UK car on the Continent /Europe.
Cheers

I was just wondering if any one has just updated the globe by putting in a Philips X-treme power blub rather than the HID whole kit?? Just wanting to save some cash.....Also the D2 is a H4 blub isn't it??? cheers
