    REMOVING D2 CLIMATE CONTROL

What's the trick to getting the climate control unit out of the dash????

Trying to replace a few globes in it but can't seem to pop the panel out.
Unscrewed the coin/ash/drink panel out thinking I might have a chance but no luck, apart from fixing a dicky drink holder and a new globe on the clock.
Now have a scratched panel surround, a crack on front of the stereo...

    Cheers

remove the 2 coin trays and the bottom cup holder, stick your hand into where the coin trays came from and you should be ably to feel a metal clip, there is one on each side, push these in and the unit comes out.
the cup holder is held in by screws.

    Great stuff!
Can you post a shot of the trays and cupholder (underside), mine seems stuck on one side. Also please, a shot of the openings in the panel with these out.

You can use 2x credit cards and remove the clock and the fuel switch area either side then just reach in the holes and push the clips it then just pops out, if you search clock and dash light removal it will show you the bulbs needed as well.

Thanks, my bad, I really want to take out the cup-holder, and it appears to be stuck around te left coin-box (all 6 screws removed)

Sorry for the hijack but would anyone have any pics or detailed instructions of how the dash cup holder comes out as mine has just jammed and wont come out and is getting really sticky. Is it stuffed or is it the spring. Any help welcome
    Thanks Steve

Arghh. The dreaded lights on the cc. They use fibre optics with a light souce inside don't they? Has anyone worked out how to get those going for all buttons save for the up and down temp rocker switches ? Cheers
